Construction work on the new building, measuring around 3,000 square metres, will begin at the end of November 2014.
Pieron GmbH has been located at its current site, Schlavenhorst 41, in the Mussum industrial park in Bocholt since 1990. Since then, the company has already expanded its production and administration space twice.
Now the third and final construction phase on the site is due. In line with the handover to the two managing directors, Sven Pieron and Christian Fehler, in March 2014, Gisela Pieron and her managing directors decided to further expand the production and logistics space in the industrial park. It was important to her, as a shareholder, to be involved in the decision and planning for this further expansion.
Earthworks for the next construction phase began at the end of September 2014.
Pieron will expand its capacity with a further 3,000 square metres of logistics and production space.
The reason for this decision was the company’s ever-growing product range and extremely positive growth in a wide variety of markets. In addition to established products such as clamping rings, compression springs and wire bent parts, Pieron GmbH is growing above all in the segments of special compression springs and stamped bent parts.
These special compression springs are used, for example, in electromechanical drives that assist in opening and closing car tailgates, such as on the Porsche Macan or BMW X3. More and more current automotive projects are being equipped with Pieron springs. In addition, the share of stamped bent part production on so-called Bihler machines is also growing steadily.
In order to develop further as a strategic supplier, Pieron urgently needs production, logistics and administration space. After all, our engineers are already developing new springs and solutions for the cars of tomorrow. But the electrical and energy technology sectors are also increasingly relying on the quality of Pieron spring development.
