On three dates in December, a total of 57 PIERON employees attended first aid training in our seminar room. This made it possible for interested colleagues from all areas of the company and all shifts to take part.
The training was run by Dieter Beng of “Anluma Will-ich GmbH” on behalf of the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Woodworking and Metalworking Industries (BGHM).
Participants took part with great interest and commitment, with the aim of being able to carry out life-saving measures after completing the seminar. The idea is to recognise danger to an injured person’s life and health from certain external signs or easily identifiable symptoms, such as bleeding, unconsciousness or respiratory arrest, and to respond safely. Instruction in the use of the defibrillator also played an important role.
We are delighted by the great interest in the training!
Our company is not the only one to benefit from being safer and better prepared when it comes to first aid at PIERON. Participants can also use their certificates for personal purposes, such as their driving licence.
