We were delighted to welcome eight school students from Bocholt to our #AbenteuerUnternehmen programme.
The students were welcomed by Sven Pieron and Mr Jonetzko from the employers’ association in Duisburg, before our head of training Jennifer Steffens and our motivated apprentices took over with an exciting programme. Using our apprentice vehicle, the students were shown where PIERON products are installed – safety first when buckling up, braking and opening the boot!
After a short tour of production with stops at running machines, it was time to get hands-on in the training workshop. The students were able to coil springs themselves, for example – an exciting task that requires precision, accuracy and just the right amount of force, and is harder than it looks.
Alongside explanations of pneumatic circuits, PIERON’s hot wire and personalisation with our laser, the interested students’ questions were answered and explained using the practical examples on display.
