PIERON Stamped bent parts - FAQ
A stamped bent part is a component manufactured from flat strip, profile wire, or round wire (Wire bent parts) using a combined stamping and bending process. At PIERON GmbH, stamped bent parts are produced on Bihler automatic machines, enabling precise and reliable series production. Thanks to the close integration of toolmaking and production, stamped-bent parts from PIERON offer maximum quality and repeat accuracy – perfect for demanding applications.
The Bihler tools are developed in-house by experienced designers and manufactured in our own tool shop. CAD data is transferred digitally directly to high-precision machines such as wire EDM-, millingand grinding centers. The tools are then installed on the Bihler automatic machines and precisely set up to ensure smooth series production of the stamped bent parts.
PIERON processes high-quality raw materials from Germany and neighboring European countries for its stamped bent parts. In addition to conventional materials, we also handle special alloys, pre-coated materials, and preheated strips. This allows us to eliminate the need for surface finishing, as the stamped bent parts are manufactured directly with the desired material properties.
With an eye to the future, Pieron is pursuing the goal of integrating as many additive processing steps as possible directly into the stamping and bending process. For example, components can be fed automatically, assembled with stamped bent parts, and placed into special packaging by robots as soon as they are finished. This enables even more efficient, fully automated further processing at the customer's site.
