On September 3, 2019, the association Erlebnis Technik e.V. from Ahaus visited the company Pieron in Bocholt.

We were welcomed by the managing director, Mr. Christian Fehler, and the sales assistant, Mrs. Nikola Kohlbecher, and informed extensively about the company.

In 1925, the company "Pieron" was founded, which has developed, over generations in family ownership, into a leading company with 270 employees today and in 2018 generated a turnover of € 46 million. About 2000 different spring products are manufactured. A total of about 1 billion parts a year leave the company. Of these, about 80% of these parts go to the automotive supply industry. A modern high-bay warehouse was completed in 2015. The company is also active worldwide. For example, there are plants in the USA, Mexico, India and China.

Currently, 19 people are in training, e.g. industrial mechanic, machine and plant operator, industrial clerk, and IT specialist.

After the presentation, we were able to see the production of various spring products. The well-organized and occasionally highly complex work processes in the clean halls made a great impression on the interested guests.
